i think in this photo the cheesy smiles overpower the writing on the ticket, but my best friend laura and i saw the script yesterday which was so exciting!
normally the music i'm into isn't necessarily similar to the script, but i love all of their albums. even though a lot of their songs are actually about heartbreak, they maintain an upbeat quality and their melodies are always so beautiful. their music really does put me in a good mood. besides, if it's possible laura loves them even more than i do and when she got the opportunity to buy these tickets and invited me i was hardly going to pass up the chance to see three beautiful irish musicians in the flesh!
of course, i needed an outfit that would make danny o'donoghue realise that he needed to marry me immediately...
excuse the slightly odd pose in this, i was being somewhat blinded by the sun - still, i love how the sunshine looks on the velvet! typically my shower broke the morning i was leaving, meaning i had to have a bath instead but couldn't wash my hair as planned making it decidedly more fluffy than planned. people with long hair, i'm sure you can relate to the fact that washing your hair with a basin and a jug is incredibly difficult?! my family dont understand that haha! why does this kind of thing always happen on the one day you want to look nice?!
however i was still excited to put together an outfit - i wanted to wear my choker necklace and my new velvet skirt that i bought from a friend. it was originally primark and i remember seeing loads of dark red ones in store for £1 a year or so ago but for some unfathomable reason i didn't buy one (or four, i should have bought four at that price) but at least i have this one now! i'm also wearing the same topshop blouse i wore a couple of posts ago, my amazing wolf choker from twirly trinkets (as well as the jingle bell earrings, though you can't see them) and my ancient beat-up pirate boots that i've worn so much that they're full of holes, but i knew for sure i could wear them all day around london and have no problems with sore feet (though i was so lucky it didn't rain as i'd have had wet feet... yeah, i need new boots!)

do you like the script? do you share the danny o'd love too?!
