DIY Rosemary Hair Rinse

Our new house came with two huge rosemary plants in the garden, and whilst it's commonly used for cooking it's also amazing for all kinds of herbal remedies including hair rinses. Rosemary is really good for scalp health and can stimulate hair growth.

This is so easy to make-just simmer some sprigs in a pan of water, strain and allow to cool, then pour over the hair after washing, massaging into the scalp little by little. Preparing the rinse makes the house smell amazing, not to mention how good the hair smells afterwards. Because I'm extra I also added some chamomile (good for blonde hair, whilst the rosemary can have a darkening effect over time) and a splash of apple cider vinegar which is good for clarifying, shine and can help with dandruff. Plus if the rinse is used when cool, it helps to seal the hair follicle and add shine.

Even though it takes two minutes to prepare, it's the first time Ive made this since having Eden and I'm looking forward to treating myself. To be honest, I'm usually lazy with haircare but I'm hoping this will perk it up a little! What are your favourite DIY or home beauty remedies?
